Assassin’s Creed 3 is an action-adventure game from Ubisoft Montreal that allows you to explore New York, Boston, and other iconic American locations during the Revolutionary War.

When it comes to action-adventure games that focus on stealth, almost all new releases are compared to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. In Assassin’s Creed 3, you take control of an American named Connor, and you will find yourself thrown into some of the most iconic moments of the Revolutionary War. This game has an incredible amount of content, and you are sure to love it if you are a fan of the series.

Unlike some of the other Assassin’s Creed games that take place in dense cities, this release allows you to explore the vast wilderness of the United States. While you can make your way through a few larger cities, you also have the option of taking control of massive ships on the high seas or starting homesteads out in the woods of Virginia. The sheer size of the gameworld makes this title feel much less claustrophobic than some of the other Assassin’s Creed releases, and there are many eye-catching areas to explore.

As you are playing through this game, it feels as if you are simply making your way through a complex period in history that has quite a bit going on. You might be collecting trinkets in a back alley one moment only to be thrust into a massive riot between Redcoats and militia members a few minutes later. You are also going to be part of massive sieges, famous sea battles, and vicious skirmishes out in the woods. Overall, this is a well-rounded game that is an excellent addition to the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
